Also: machined aluminum spool with Line Capacity Rings; marine-grade bronze alloy main gear; stainless steel pinion gear; 3+1 system with shielded stainless steel ball bearings; and premium HT-100 carbon fiber drag washers.

The Squall II Rod series of rugged graphite composite or 1-piece tubular glass/solid tip rods has been enhanced with PENN's rugged Dura-Guide guidesets for unmatched durability. Select models are equipped with slick butts for use in rod holders, comfortable EVA grips, or rubber shrink tube handles for surf and spray. Some styles have aluminum gimbals as well.
